On November 16, 2015, the Salisbury Planning & Zoning Commission voted to adopt the binding Stipulation into the Town's zoning regulations court-ordered restrictions limiting the activities at Lime Rock Race Track. The Planning & Zoning's decision provides critical protections for the residents of Lime Rock and promotes the historical character and natural beauty of our community. After the 2020 Supreme Court decision to uphold the original Stipulation banning Sunday racing, the Zoning regulation are now fully supported in Superior Court and can only be changed by a Town Zoning change.
